Palghar: The police have arrested three men for allegedly raping Gading a 17-year-old Yatim girl in Vasai in Palghar Maharashtra District, an official said on Saturday.

He said that he lived in Vasai with his father after his mother left them.
In November 2020, his father died and the owner of the house displaced him.
After that the girl began to roam the streets and lived on the path, where she experienced sexual abuse several times, he said.
“Based on this information, the police formed a team to investigate casts and examine CCTV footage.

Thus, two remaining Defendants – Munna Yadav (28) and Akram Choudhari (34) – were arrested on Friday, police said.
The police have registered a violation of the trio under the IPC section 363 (kidnapping), 376 (rape), 376 (D) (Gang-Rape) from the IPC and also part 6 protection of children from the sexual law (Pocso).
Police Inspector Train Vasai Baparahb Bagal said that the girl was traumatized.
“We took the help of advisors.
The girl will be rehabilitated and given vocational training,” he said.
