3 at SL Found Evaluation positive for COVID-19 Before Initial ODI vs Bangladesh

DHAKA: Three members of this Sri Lankan identified have tested positive for COVID-19, hours prior to the opening ODI against Bangladesh on Sunday, according to a report.

Sri Lanka is scheduled to perform three ODIs against hosts Bangladesh beginning on Friday.

The next and third match will be slated for May 25 and 28.

“Two players and a mentor from Sri Lanka’s diagnosed have tested positive for Covid-19 before their very first ODI against Bangladesh at Dhaka,” ESPNcricinfo reported.

The site also said that the Bangladesh Cricket Board has ruled out the chance of this game being called off.

In accordance with a few other accounts, Chaminda Vaas is your bowling trainer in questiokn, whereas both infected gamers will be Isuru Udana and Shiran Fernando.

Even the three-match ODI series is part of this World Cup Super League.
