Bokaro: Three customers from HDFC Banks located in the city center in Sector-4 here have reported the loss of cash of 1,11,500 from their account as soon as they withdraw money from the ATM kiosk installed in the branch.
Customers complain about this issue with the Sector-4 police station.
According to their complaints, customers say they have withdraw money from HDFC Bank ATMs on Saturdays and some people who look suspicious stand and talk about interesting and deposit money.
They also complained that no security personnel were present.
After the customer returns home, they receive a warning that money has been withdrawn from their account from somewhere in Putki in the Dhanbad district and ATM sector-4.
One of the victims, Rita Shandilya, said she lost Rs 41,500, while a man received a message withdrawal RS 50,000 and one Shashank Shekhar reported Rs 20,000 stolen from his bank account.
While bank officials refused to comment on this problem, DSP (city), Kuldeep Kumar, said the Sector Police Office was investigating this problem.
He said, “Footage CCTV has been provided by the bank and we check it out.”
