Ulhasnagar: Maharashtra Electric Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has recorded the owner of three jeans factories in Ulhasnagar for stealing the power supply illegally worth Rs 7.
5 lakh.
The MSEDCL team has registered three firm firms against six people including landowners and running factories.
MSEDCL found that the defendant used a trick to solve the electricity meter by drilling a hole in the back of the meter box to steal electricity.
“Analysis of power consumption from the factories revealed theft,” said MSEDCL spokesman in Fire Fire, the owner of the Factory Arjun Chaurasia and Power User Lavkush Kushwaha had been booked for RS 1.34 Lakh electricity theft.
In the second FIR, Ramesh Lalwani, Haresh Krishnani who was representative and Vijay Wadhel’s electric users had been booked for theft of Rs 5.83 Lakh Rs.
In the third FIR, Job Nawab Khan had been booked for RS 31,000 electricity theft.
