Gurgaon: The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority’s (GMDA) strategy to come up with an urban woods is gaining speed.
Three personal agencies also have expressed interest in undertaking the job, which is dispersed around 200 acres in Chakkarpur along with Sikanderpur.
The metropolitan jurisdiction has asked the 3 bureaus — DLF Foundation, iamgurgaon and IORA Ecological Solutions — to publish their own project proposals for additional evaluation.
The project had been accepted by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar at the GMDA assembly held in April.
According to jurisdiction officials, they’d searched expressions of interest (EoI) from private agencies such as the growth of the urban woods under corporate social responsibility.
“We obtained three curiosity awards and have requested the services for comprehensive project plans.
As soon as they submit the programs, we’ll assess them and delegate the job based upon the merit of this proposition,” stated a senior GMDA official.
