Nagpur: Viral Video Stripping Dancers in a show in Brahmni Village in Umred Taluka from the Nagpur District saw police take three people to detention on Saturday.
The police check whether the show was held at Kuhi nearby too.
Special Investigation Team was established by SP Vijaykumar Magar on Saturday under DY SP Pooja Gaikwad to investigate this problem.
Two additional special teams have also been formed.
Police said during the show by the city group ‘Alex Julie Dance Show’, several women and men ‘dances began to demand on stage and circling provocatively in their inner wear.
The show was believed to have occurred on January 17.
Police said Gram Panchayat had organized ‘Shankarpat’ or Bullock Race in Brahmni which was followed by performance.
Operator charging Rs 100 per person.
The program began after the police left after providing bandobiasts for the race.
Magar said the relevant provisions for obscenities and other violations were being summoned with organizers and others.
“Patil police (warden village) have tried to prevent organizers but they go ahead,” he said.
Police Umred has captured the organizer of Chandrashekhar Mandre, Suraj Nagpure and Anil Damke.
The source said the police had received information that the group continued to appear in the village program.
The police are also looking for people who provide sound systems, lights, and audience members.
