New Delhi: Three men have been arrested in connection with the shooting incident in the Hindu Area Rao here, which killed two people, police said on Sunday.
Rahul alias Charlie (23), Himanshu (21), both residents of Nand Nagri, and Mehtab (52), a resident of Farsh Khana, has been arrested, they said.
The incident occurred on Thursday on Jalan Filmistan North Delhi.
The police said they were hired allegedly by local builders to threaten a businessman, Mohd.
Naeem Ahmed, and Munib’s niece over problems related to property.
On Thursday, the men stopped the businessman’s car and began to fight with him and Munib, they said.
However, some people gathered and beat two of them.
But after a while they managed to escape, police said.
Then, the men returned and fired fire, targeting Ahmed and Munib.
Unfortunately, two passerbus came in their fire line and was killed, police said, added that one of the deceased had been identified as Sanjay Rajput (30) while the other identity was confirmed.
