Patna: In a frightening incident that raises questions for the law and the situation of order in the state, three criminals who were transmitted by motorbikes continued the murder and shot dead two people between Rajendra Chowk and Ragargoj Chowk under the Maharajanj Police Office in Siwan Regency on Thursday.
, The bullets fired by criminals also injured two people.
The source said a criminal riding a bicycle while one of the two drivers had a gun in both hands.
Others have a gun in one hand.
Siwan SP Abhinav Kumar said it was not clear why the murder occurred.
“We have collected CCTV camera footage and efforts to arrest criminals,” he added.
The first shot was one Sudama Yadav (35).
He rode a bicycle at the time of the incident.
Yadav is a resident of Misrauli Village below the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Station area in Siwan.
Police source said he was involved in transporting the Covid-19 vaccine from one center to another.
“The second victim is Mohammad Arman Ansari (25).
He drove a pillion on his friend’s motorbike, Mohammad Ashraf,” said a source, adding Ansari was a resident of Rukundipur Village under the Darada Police Station in Siwan.
Then, criminals shot at one Kumar Manish (28).
“Manish went to the sub-division hospital with his mother with a bicycle when the criminals opened him.
Others, Ashok Patel (35) from Mishr Baniia Village, was also shot by criminals,” said a source.
Sho of Maharajanj Polar Station Ashok Kumar Singh said the criminals continued to shoot in the air while moving towards Ragargoj Chowk.
