Bengaluru: Three customs officers, including two supervisors and inspectors, have been suspended after the July 29 incident where efforts were made to smuggle red Sanders worth Rs 6 Crore to Dubai from the Kempegowda International Airport complex.
The Bengaluru Unit of the Directorate of Intelligence recently submitted a probe report to Bangalore Customs.
According to airport sources, officers inherent in Bangalore Customs posted in Kia cargo complex when the discipline offer was revealed on Thursday night waiting for the investigation of their department to ensure their involvement.
