Gopeshwar: Three people, including a woman, killed on Thursday when the excavator where they fell to the canyon in the Chamoli district, police said.
The excavator fell into a 250-meter deep canyon near Gadi Village at Birhi Valley killed the three people in place, they said, adding that the body had been pulled out of the canyon.
People who died were identified as Operator of the Anand Singh Care Machine (40), Jethua Lal (58) and Jetuli Devi (45), police said.
