Ludhiana: Three Ludhiana residents died because Covid-19 and 806 were tested positive here on Monday.
According to the Department of Health Bulletin, the three victims included a 44-year-old man Basti Jodhewal, a 59-year-old Machhiwara man and a 55-year-old man from Jamalpur.
With this, the calculation of district victims has increased to 2,124 and the outsider here is 1,066.
For date, 30.38,726 samples have been tested.
Of the 806 new cases, 106 is the contact of positive patients, 73 comes from OPD, 407 from the corner of the flu with diseases such as influenza, 34 is a health care worker, 179 patients are tracked, two are pre-operative cases, and five under-trials.
As 62 patients from outside the district, too, were tested positive here.
The local health department said the number of district cases was 90,739 and outsiders here were 12,098.
SO far, 85,684 patients had recovered, which was 94.43% of the total cases.
There are 2,931 active cases.
On Monday, the number of samples taken was 3,239.
Patients from Ludhiana are in the ventilator.
