Lucknow: The death toll of Covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh rose to 22,646 on Monday with three deaths again, while 120 new cases pushed infection to count to 17.06.739, according to an official statement issued here.
One death was reported from Gonda, Sitapur and Ballia in the last 24 hours, he said.
From new cases, 17 reported from Lucknow, 16 of Allahabad, nine of Ghaziabad, and eight each from Gorakhpur and Gautam Buddh Nagar, a statement from the Government of Uttar Pradesh said.
In the last 24 hours, 195 people recovered from infection, taking overall recovery to have 16,81,912, he said.
Counts of Covid-19 cases are active in the country standing at 2,181, he said.
In the last 24 hours, more than 2.28 Samples were tested, while more than 5.91 Crore tests have been carried out in a state so far, he added.
