New Delhi: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested an inspector, a policeman and police posted at the police station Kalindi Kunj in Delhi with Rs 39,000 bribery cases, according to a press note issued by the Investigation Agency on Sunday.
Previously, based on the complaint, a case has been filed against the inspector and chief of police.
It was alleged that the inspectors have searched around Rs 39,000 bribe through police precinct of the complainant.
Furthermore, it turns out the accused had demanded a bribe of Rs 500 per square yard to allow the construction of the boundary wall around the plot area measuring 132 square meters in Madanpur Khadar Extension in Delhi under Kalindi Kunjung Police Station.
Then defendant has reduced the demand to Rs 300 per square yard (about Rs 39,000).
CBI laid a trap and caught the police received a bribe amount of Rs 39,000 from the complainant in the presence of head constables.
Both Inspector and Head of Head also arrested, the agency said.
Searches were conducted at the official and residential premises of the person arrested.
All were accused arrested will be produced before a court in Delhi.
