Mumbai: After a strong objection of the Country Cabinet for Governor of Bhagat Singh Koshyari’s Thire Tinwin Third of Three Regions in Marathwada, Guardian Minister Nanded (Ashok Chavan) Hingoli (Varsha Gaikwad) and Parbhani (Nawab Malik) said they would not attend the program.
Koshyari was in Nanded on Thursday.
He will be in Hingoli on Friday and in Parbhani on Saturday.
Malik and Chavan confirmed to the Toi that they would not attend the Koshyari program.
“I oversee key repair and road reconstruction work and bridges, which have been swept away.
It is impossible for me to attend Koshyari events in Nanded,” Chavan said.
Nanded is the city of origin Chavan.
Malik said it was not mandatory for the guardian minister or the minister of head to stay present during the visit of the governor to a district.
“Even though the Guardian ministers will not attend, the routine protocol will be followed.
All officers whose presence is obliged during the governor’s visit will remain,” he said.
According to travel schedules issued by Raj Bhavan on Monday, Koshyari will visit Nanded for the inauguration of the hostel for girls and minority boys and review the preparation of Covid-19 there.
In Hingoli and Parbhani, Koshyari is expected to visit the University of Agriculture and review the Covid situation with district officials.
However, after the objection submitted by the State Cabinet on Tuesday, the travel plan was changed to declare that the hostel was operating for three to four years, so the governor would only visit him.
Furthermore, it stated that he would not take a review meeting with the District Administration, instead of part of the senior bureaucrat would make a presentation in front of the Covid situation that applies.
At the weekly cabinet meeting on Tuesday, most members expressed a strong displeasure on the decision of Koshyari to tour a vast three districts in Marathwada.

On Wednesday, a Raj Bhavan official told the Toi that no questions about the governor took over the CM function.
“The governor did not hold a review of a review; some bureaucrats have expressed their desire to make a presentation before him,” the official said.
