LOS ANGELES: A group of thieves destroyed the window of the department store at a luxury mall in Los Angeles on Monday night, triggered the pursuit of the police, police said.
The latest incident in the Smash-and-Grab crime trend targets the Nordstrom store in the retail and entertainment complex Grove.
This group crashed around 10:40 a.m., said Drake Madison’s officer, spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
The officer chasing the SUV involved in the crime, the pursuit ended in South Los Angeles and three people detained, he said.
The number of people involved in the crime is unknown, said Madison.
The Grove incident followed the weekend of Smash theft and took a similar in the Teluk San Francisco and Beverly Hills.
