VARANATION: Team with the Stf Varanasi Field Unit and Mumbai Police on Tuesday arrested three people including a woman from Ballia District for killing a woman to rob cash and other items in Bhayandar on July 21.
According to STF, the team with the sub-inspector of Angad Yadav and Mumbai Crime Branch Nilesh Shivale arrested Sonu Chauhan and Munni Devi from Galafar Pakha Village in Bansdih, Sudhir Kumar from Kusurrikala in Sahatwar area from the Ballia train station and the Galafanpur area.
Police Reclain Rs 2,520 Cash, Mobile Phones, Adhar Cards, Pan Cards, ATMs and Female Check Books Killed from their ownership.
During the police investigation, it was revealed that Suman lived in a house in the slums of Bhananagar under the Bhayandar police station in Mumbai with her husband, who was a factory worker.
Sonu and Sudhir, who lived in Mumbai to get livelihoods by working in a rubber plant, often visited the place of Sumitas.
Because of the lifestyle of the Suman, the duo guessed that he would keep the jewelry value more than Rs 25 Lakh and a large cash and decided to loot it.
They were finished and Sonu named Munni Devi from Ballia to help them loot Suman.
On July 21, they reached Suman’s house.
When he was preparing tea for the Trio Sonu, Sundhir and Munni who strangled him and fell asleep with RS 38,000 cash, cellphones, cards, check books, and other documents.
After a registered case, Bhayandar police received instructions on the murderer and asked for assistance from the Crime Police Crime Mumbai, who contacted STF above.
STF found the trio location in Ballia after the attack was carried out and the three accused people were arrested.
After their arrest, STF handed over Sonu, Sudhir and Munni to the Kotwali police station to be produced in front of a local court.
After completing the transit delivery formalities, the Mumbai police team went to Bhayandar with them.
