Thane: Three people were arrested for allegedly stealing motorbikes in the Thane District in Maharashtra and two-wheeled and other vehicles worth Rs 12.10 lakh recovered from them, police said on Monday.
They were arrested after the police team patrolled the Kongaon area in Bhiwandi saw Van pick-up moving in a suspicious way around 3am on August 28, an official said.
“Two stolen motorbikes hidden inside the van.
We arrested three people, while one person managed to escape.
We found a tempo of a gang too,” he said.
