Palanpur: Three men were detained with 30 gms of all narcotics mephedrone in Akesan village about 10km in Palanpur from Banaskantha on Tuesday.
The accused had been identified as Prakash Kumar of Rajasthan, Parvi Puri of Vav taluka and Kamlesh Soni of Deesa.
According to authorities, Kumar and Puri had been smuggling that the narcotics while Soni had been the client who’d come to buy the contraband which has been worth Rs 3 lakh.
“We have a tip-off the accused were providing the medication near Gathaman village into your client in Deesa,” said special operations team sub inspector Mahavirsinh Jhala.
Police also have seized a vehicle and cellular phone from the accused.
