Houston: A police chasing in Houston ended in a shootout that injured three Thursday officers, the authorities said.
The incident began around 14:40 Thursday with reports of disturbances involving weapons.
The next car chase ended when the suspect’s vehicle hit the intersection in a residential neighborhood not far from the Interstate 69 on the southeast bank of Downtown Houston.
The supervision video aired by KTRK-TV shows officers jumping from patrol cars and exchanging what sounds like a shot.
The police said in a statement that a suspect escaped in the White Mercedes and the three injured officers were taken to Hermann Memorial Hospital.
The police then tweeted that the three officers were in a stable condition.
