SRINAGAR: Three Jaish-e-Mohammad (JEM) terrorists were killed in an overnight meeting with security forces in the Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Friday.
The meeting broke out in the village of Zolwa Budgam on Thursday, a police officer said.
Three terrorists were killed in a fire exchange with security forces, the official said.
“The three slum terrorists are affiliated with Terror Jem clothing.
Three AK 56 rifles and other burdensome material restored from the location of the meeting,” said Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar.
While one of the terrorists has been identified as cleaners of Srinagar, the identity of the other two is certain, he said.
Security forces have eliminated 16 terrorists in the first week of this year.
