Hyderabad: Three people were killed and one other sustainable injury in an accident on the road after their car traveled crashing into a parked truck in Dundigal on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Charan, from Vijayawada, Sanju and Ganesh from Eluru in West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.
Their friend Ashok suffered a severe injury in an accident and is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
According to Dundigal police, the accident occurred at 2:30 a.m.
in Bowrampet when the victims traveled from Pragati Nagar to Bowrampet.
Charan drove a car when the accident occurred.
There is room for two more trucks to be passed, we don’t know why Charan drives on the left of the extreme, said Dundigal Inspector of Ramana Reddy.
“We suspect that Charan is under the influence of alcohol.
He might fall asleep behind the steering wheel at the time of the accident.
Viscera samples will be preserved for analysis of alcohol concentration in the blood,” Inspector said.
