Mumbai: Three people were killed and 15 were injured after a truck ran into the bus which was later about other vehicles on the Mumbai-Pune toll road under the border of the Khopoli police station, an official said on Sunday.
The accident took place late Saturday night when a truck hit a bus, which then ran to another truck, he said.
“The driver of one of the trucks, was identified as Palli Jagadish (50), and two others, Nitesh Kambu (28) and Bablu Sultan (28) died.
Ten traveling on the bus and five others worked on a hurt,” he said.
The case has been registered because it causes death from negligence and other violations such as the driving rash against the driver of the first truck, but no arrest has occurred, the officials of the Khopoli police station informed.
