Coimbatore: Three people killed at the place after the autorickshaw where they traveled directly with the TNSTC city bus near Sowripalayam here on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as K Prabhakaran, R Kalavey, 28, Sowripalayam, and S esakkimuthu, 27, from Sowripalakalam.
The wing of the traffic investigation from the city police said Kalavey was a driver of the Autorickshaw and Esakkimuthu was a driver’s autorickshaw driver.
S Gowtham, 24, from Sowripalakalayam, suffered a severe injury and was accepted at Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for treatment.
Police said the TNSTC Town bus (route number -S4) towards Uppilipalayam from Madampatti collided with a rickshaw car near Sowripalayam.Gowtham, who drives Autorickshaw, escaped with injury but Prabhakran, Kalavey and Esakkututu died in place.
The police registered a case and further investigation.
