ThiruvananThapuram: KSRTC bus depot in Kilimanoor, Pappanamcode, Vikas Bhavan, Chadayamangalam and punolo on a Kolllam account for around RS 5 Crore monthly losses.
This was served at a meeting of the KSRTC bus depot review under the South Zone held on Saturday.
Among the depots in Vikas Bhavan district recorded a loss of 34.3% while Kilimanoor and Pappanamcode recorded 43.43% and 33.4% respectively.
The Antony Raju minister who attended the meeting said that this depot flowed at a loss in such a way that even fuel burden could not be fulfilled.
He said that strict action would be taken against the depot head that flowed at losses.
The Minister also informed that officials from the best show depos would be transferred to their choice places.
Unit officers, operating inspectors and the center of 37 depots attended a review meeting.
Parassala Depot, Poovar Depot and Vellarada Depot won the first three places for the best performance.
Meeting reviews the performance of the depot and discussed about dynamic scheduling, travel facilities for students, student bond services, restrangement of travel with low income and steps to increase income other than tickets.
