Srinagar: Three terrorists were killed while two military soldiers were injured at a meeting in Chimmer Village, in South Kashal Damjipora, Kulgam District, on Wednesday.
An official said the police joint team, 9 RR and Crpf Army launched the Cordon-and-Search operation on specific information about the existence of militants in the area.
He said that when a combined team approached, the militants shot them and they reply, triggered a meeting.
“The injured soldiers were taken to the army hospital for treatment,” the official said.

Three militants killed were identified as Waseem Ahmad Bangroo Redwani Kulgam, Shahnawaz Ahmad from Kilbal Shopian and Zakir Bashir from Chimmer Kulgam.
