Hyderabad: Three Maoists were killed and Greyhounds command was injured in fire exchanges with security forces in the Karrigutalu Forest along the border of the Telangana-Chhattisgarh on Tuesday morning.
Among the dead Maois is two men and one woman whose identity has not been established.
The Greyhounds Commando, who suffered a bullet injury, was shifted to Hyderabad and his condition was stable, said police officer.
This is the second setback for Maois in less than a month.
Six Maoists were previously killed in December last week by Bhadradri-Kothagudem District Police at the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border.
