3 mega drives in September in Noida, Jab is calculated lower than August

Noida: While inoculation drive in the country has taken momentum with Uttar Pradesh above the list of the highest number of the first dosage given in the country in September, the total number of jabs managed in Gautam Budh Nagar last month has been found slightly lower than August.
Despite the three mega vaccination drives last month – on September 6, 17 and 27 – the district gave at least 2,000 more doses than August when more than 3.98 lakh jab was recorded.
Also, one day vaccination was a maximum of 32,435 doses since August recorded on September 27.
The authorities, officials have claimed, became “relaxed” after the district reached a 100% mark in managing the first dose of Covid vaccination in Indonesia the first week of September.
“Because GB Nagar has been in front of all other districts since the Covid vaccination drive starts and reaches the 100% first vaccination dose target, more relaxed officials.
The target given by the state for mega drives is also lower for GB Nagar now, even though it’s still high for some districts Others, “said a senior health official to TI.
So far, 24,99,053 doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been given in the district, including 17.07,527 first doses and 7.91,526 second dose.
That is, the district has achieved 107% vaccination for the first dose and 49% for the second.
In accordance with the estimated government, this district has a population of 15.89 lakh for 18 years.
In accordance with the Cowin portal, a total of 3.98,051 the Covid-19 vaccine dose was managed between July 31 and September 3 in the district, while 3.96,305 doses were given between September 3 and October 2.
However, say there are still many people who have been left from inoculation drive and have not taken the first dose.
During the encouragement of surveillance fever recently, the Ministry of Health has identified around 64,000 people for 45 years that have not taken vaccines.
Special sessions in GIP and Spectrum malls, officials said, would only serve this category from Monday and so on.
“We increase the focus again at the first dose (Covid-19 vaccine) for those who are left behind, especially in the category of 45 years plus.
Special CVC has been made for this group and they are told.
We also asked everyone over 18 years, who hasn’t been Taking the first dose, for the earliest vaccinated, “said Dr.
Neeraj Tyagi, said district immunization officer.
He added that while government centers had not been reduced and adequate doses were available, the fewer people reasoned in the past few weeks.
It is hoped that Dr.
Tyagi said that the crowd for those who need the second dose will increase over the next few weeks and set the district vaccination record on the track again.
