Greater Noida: Three men in a car allegedly harassed a 20-year-old BA student and tried to pull him into their vehicle beaten by a horde after he raised an alarm.
The trio was then arrested.
On Thursday afternoon, the woman, her sister and her friend traveled by bicycle when it ran out of fuel near the Roopwas bypass at GT Road in Dadri, according to the police.
The brother and friend began to drag a bicycle while walking a few meters behind them.
A red car approached and three men sat inside, identified as Nitin, Nishant and Manav, allegedly starting to pass obscene comments.
The woman alleged that one of the men tried to pull her into the car, followed what she shouted for help.
His brother and his friend rushed to him, faced the men and took their car keys.
Allegations began to argue with sisters and friends.
One of them slapped the sister who increased the conflict, said Dadri Sho Pradeep Tripathi.
A group of 10 people immediately gathered in that place, struggling trio and also broke the car window.
Nitin called his uncle, who arrived at the SUV.
The men fled and left Uncle Nitin and the red car behind, which was broken by a horde.
A Dadri police team arrived at the place after receiving information about the incident from a pedestrian and took complaints from the woman and brother.
Nitin, Nishant and Manav were arrested from nearby Friday and ordered gates below the IPC 354A section (physical contact and progress involving an unwelcome and explicit sexual jambs) and 323 (punishment due to hurtly hurt).
