Ludhiana: Bicycles-transmitted three masked attackers opened fire on a house in Baba Colony of Jodhewal Area on Tuesday night.
No one was injured in the incident.
The defendant had fired at least five times.
Gurpreet Singh and his mother Baljinder Kaur was present at home when the incident happened.
Displaying the presence of mind, Baljinder Kaur raced the main door of the house from the inside because the defendant could not enter the building.
Baljinder Kaur stated, “My son Gurpreet was in his room listening to music when I stood near the main door of the house when I heard gunshots.
I realized that someone had opened fire on my house so I went to see it.
I saw a man coming to my house and I immediately shot the door.
Even after being accused of claping firing fire targeting me from the distance of the main door and wall but I fled not hurt.
“He added that the defendant fired at least five shots and then fled.
Accused of being arrested in CCTV installed near our home where I recognized one of them as my college friend.
I have an argument with a group of college friends a few days ago because they maintain competition against me.
About 15 days ago they also struggled me near the Fountain Chowk and the police who were present there had saved me.
The same accusation has attacked my house.
“Tehal Singh, Gurpeet’s father, alleged that his son wanted a college contest into an election because where some students maintained competition against him.
The Parminder ADCP-2 Singh Heer said,” The police registered a case in this matter.
