Bharuch / Letter: Three Bangladesh citizens who live illegally in the country were arrested for murder by police branch of Local Crime Bharuch on Friday.
According to the police, the trio killed a colleague who threatened them to tell the police about their illegal presence here and deported back to their home country.
“The fourth, including the person killed, is a citizen of Bangladesh and has lived in our country illegally from the past years.
They continue to change their location from Ahmedabad to Surat and Ankleshwar,” said Rajendrasinh Chudasama, SP, Police Bharuch.
Almarham was identified as Akbar, living near the Chandola Talav area, and allegedly threatened his three colleagues told the police and made them deported into their country if they did not pay for ransom.
Fed up from the constant threatening, the three decided to end the abuse and with the support of the local automatic rickshaw driver Naushad Indis Khan, 34, a resident of Bubiaagar in Ankleshwar, they called grand to their home.
Here they calm the victim with several sedative medicine tablets and strangled him to death with a pillow.
Then, the defendant cut the victim’s body into several parts, pack the remnants in the polythene bag and put everything in one bag of luggage.
Autorickshaw driver Naushad took a bag in his car and dumped it near the sarangpur at Rajpipla Road.
The bag was restored on Wednesday.
With the help of human supervision and intelligence, the police arrested three killers identified as Lesina Zakir Abdul Mulla, 37, Mufi Mohammad Mulla, 34, both of the Naudal District in Bangladesh, and Ajom Samsu Sheikh, 55 of Khulna.
But the defendant Naushad fled.
The police have registered FIR under IPC 302, 201, 114, and GP Act 135.
