Bathinda: Amid the pressure given by supporters of MP Sangrur Bhagwant Mann to ask him to declare the main face of the AAM AADMI Party (AAP) in Punjab, three MLAS parties have extended support.
Bathinda Rural Mla Rupinder Kaur Ruby, Barnala Mla Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer and Nihal Singh Wala Mla Mla Singh Billalaspur on Tuesday that is rooted in making Mann, who is the President of Punjab AAP, Face of CM 2017 for the 2017 Assembly poll.
Previously, Kotkapura Mla Kultar Singh Sandhwan and Mehal Melo Mla Kulwant Singh Pandori has made the same request.
There is almost a dozen active MLAS AP in Punjab.
Mann supporters have run a social media campaign for Mann.
Some of them reached Chandigarh with requests on Tuesday, after lining up walking from Ludhiana.
The National Party Convener Arvind Kejriwal has announced that Sikh will be the face of CM Party.
Previously, Hayer, who was considered close to the Punjab Party Co-incharge Raghav Chadha, had been criticized because it did not support Mann on social media.
Ruby posted a photo of himself and her husband with Mann on Tuesday to extend the cupor.
Bilaspur, in posting on Tuesday night, wrote: “We want Bhagwant Mann as our leader and we want him to lead us further.”
