Gurugram: The Ministry of Health has proposed three new detention zones to curb the spread of Covid-19.
Gurugram has added 224 new cases in November to now.
A total of 74 of these are active today, with 70 patients in house isolation.
Door-to-door checks will be carried out in this detention zone and MCG will clean the area.
The detention zone will be considered denession after a period of 14 days.
Gurugram has three current detention zones.
Areas with three or more active cases are notified as detention zones.
Three fields that can become a new detention zone soon are Kibithu Villas in Sector 47 where there are six active cases, city heritage in DLF-2 with five active cases and an ansal esencia in sector 67 with six cases.
“This detention area has an active case, most of the patient’s family members.
We witnessed that people traveling to various parts of the country infecting their family members after returning home.
Tourists need to be isolated if they witness symptoms,” medical heads.

After a five-month gap, the city returned to detention steps on November 18 as a daily Covid case and the level of participants reported uptick.
Three Detention Zones are notified – Areas near Amity Global School in Sector 56 and Tower-K in Sector 48’s Central Park, which has four active cases, and tower – A from DLF Belaire in Sector 54, which has three active cases.
The number of phones of patients in house isolation has been marked by geographical and the police monitor their movements to ensure they live at home.
District administration said it would notify more fields soon.
“We have received a proposal for the Ministry of Health and works to notify them as a detention zone immediately,” said Deputy Commissioner Yash Garg.
The number of detention zones has peaked during the second wave in April and May.
Before November 18, the last time Gurugram had it on June 28, when 128 people were tested positively.
The detention zone contains diseases in the geographical area determined by early detection and violates the transmission chain, thus preventing its spread to new areas.
These include geographical quarantine, social distance steps, increasing active supervision, testing all suspected cases, insulation cases, home contact quarantine and social mobilization to follow preventive public health measures.
City saw 7 new cases ofgurugram reported seven new Covid cases on Tuesday, taking the calculation to 181,638.
No Covid deaths reported on that day.
The level of pepony is at 0.5%.
A total of 12 people recovered on Tuesday, bringing total recovery to 180,639.
On Wednesday, 53 government session sites will be arranged for vaccination – 47 for covishield, five for Covaxin and one for Sputnik V.
In addition, the health team will visit 146 areas to inoculate door-to-door.
