Bhubaneswar: Three Odia filmmakers received a prestigious national award on Monday.
While veteran filmmaker Sabysachi Mohapatra and Nilamadhab Panda together shared the honor of the best Odia feature for Sala Budhara Badla and Kaliana Ataa, Ashutosh Pattnik won the best film and cultural film award for Srikshetra-Ru-Sahijata, a documentary.
Rajat Kamal, cash award 1 lakh and quotes given to Mohapatra and Panda.
Pattnik received a cash award of 50,000 rs and quotes.
“This award is indeed an acknowledgment of the hard work we have entered.
It will continue to motivate me.
Today, I missed the Panda Bihari, my protagonist in the film, which was perfect in his acting and beautifully described his mind.

Sala Budhar Badla is the third film of the trilogy, which consists of Sala Buddha and Adima Vichar.
The latter has pocketed the national award in 2015.
Films feature Panda’s debut in Odia, Kaliadaya Ata, who focused on the problem of climate change.
“Odia cinema has an extraordinary past.
I miss looking classics like it was made today.
I hope we can restore your noble era with these films,” Panda said.
Srikshetra-Ru-Sahijata, a 35-minute documentary film, focuses on the open theater of the centuries of Puri, where different artists (colonies) present the story of Ramayana.
