Ludhiana: Police, on Wednesday, arrested the three men who had tried to loot jewelry stores at Tajpur Road on Tuesday night.
The arrest was Himanshu from Baldev Nagar, Rahon Road, Rizwan of Moradabad at Uttar Pradesh, and Muhammad Rizwan from New Puneet Nagar.
Police said, “On Tuesday around 8:30 a.m., the three had tried to loot jewelry stores, but the owner rejected their efforts.
When he escaped, the defendant had left them without registering a plate motorbike number and weapons in the 7th Division of the police station.
Commissioner, Ludhiana (rural), Sachin Gupta said, “Himanshu and Rizwan were trapped from the city bus near the central prison.
They hid between the bus.
Muhammad Rizwan managed to escape, but was arrested near Vijay Nagar, Road Tajpur.

However, Avtar Singh put up the bold front, fighting with the trio, taking their gun and making them escape.
