Bareilly: Roman police have traced the Congress district president, farmer cells, Marazish Khan’s Mare and handed it to him.
The four-year-old Mare lost on Friday.
As many as three police teams were declared to find a female horse after Khan had filed a complaint online in this matter on Twitter and marked the relevant official to take action.
In complaints, Khan said that he had bought a female horse of Rs 80,000.
It was tied behind the factory at the topkhana gate near Hazratpur field when it disappeared on November 5 night, he added.
Virendra Singh, Sub-Inspector, Kotwali, said, “The missing Mare recovered from Kashipur Anga Village after three people who were allegedly involved in this problem were interrogated.
Mare was found on Sunday night.
No one was arrested.” Khan thanked the police for finding Mare.
“We are worried because he is part of our family,” he said.
Khan’s belief in the ability of the police blended to track lost animals seemed to have surged after they managed to trace the leader of the Jamajwadi Party and former Cabinet Minister of Azam Khan’s Seven Buffaloes from Pasiyapur Dairy in January 2014.
