Pune: Police Commissioner Pimpri Chinchwad Krishna Prakash and two policemen suffered bruises during the midnight dramatic fire exchange and chased Koye Village near Chakan for the NAB of three suspects desired in the killing Yogesh Jagtap recently (36), a criminal on the police record, at Pimple Gurav.
Krishna Prakash led one of the four police teams that had circled a house close to the farm field in Koye after establishing the presence of three suspects there.
The trio of running out of the house felt the presence of the police and two of which were fired indiscriminately to block the police and the last one replied by firing two rounds.
“There was no one who was injured in the exchange of fire, but the suspects moved to the nearest farming field and became aggressive.
The police must defeat them in a fight where Krishna Parakash and two other policemen suffered bruises,” Deputy Commissioner of Manchak Police said Ipper.
Police then restored two firearms and bullets made by the country from Trio – Ganesh Mote (23), an external crime of the Solapur district and the main suspect in the murder of Guraav Orange, Mahesh Mane (23) from Sangvi and Ashwin Chavan (21) from Katepuram Chowk where Jagtap was shot dead at around 10:30 a.m.
on December 18.
Mote and his aide had fired four rounds in the jagtap before taking a paralyzed bicycle and left the place.
Police have since established an involvement of 11 people in conspiracies and murders and have arrested two of them.
