Nagpur: The Maharashtra government has transferred 12 RTOS representatives throughout the country including three of the Nagpur division.
However, the government once again failed to fill the top position of regional transportation officers in the city of Nagpur and rural.
Deputy RTO from Gondia Vijay Chavhan has been transferred to Gadchiroli, while from Deputy East Office RTO Vinod Jadhav, who also held an additional charge of City RTO, has shifted to Malegaon.
The source said the RTO rural post has been empty for the past two years and the city office has been without head since March this year.
Deputy RTO from Gadchiroli Ravindra Bhuyar has been transferred to the Nagpur East office.

Deputy RTO from Wardha Bajrang Kharmate has been charged with additional RTO Rural, Kampee Road.
Additional responsibility in officials has achieved smooth functions of the city and rural offices.
Even so, the transportation commissioner office in Mumbai failed to fill the empty post of RTOS in the city of Nagpur and rural areas.
Additional Secretary D Kadam issued a transfer order and directed 12 RTOS representatives to join their new posts without delay.
