Jaunpur: Three sisters allegedly ended their lives by jumping before the train here, police said on Friday.
Preeti (16), Kajal (14) and Aarti (11), a daughter of the end of Rajendra Prasad Gautam from Ahiroli Village, jumped before Jansadharan Express Train at Fattupur Railway Crossing in the Sultanpur Rail section below the police station on Thursday night, supervisor City said Sanjay Kumar police.
The police suspect that poverty can encourage siblings to take extreme steps like that.
Their father gautam died nine years ago and their mother blind for the past three years.
The three girls, together with my brother Ganesh, worked as a laborer to run the house, SP said.
The sisters were missing from their homes since night and around 11pm, their neighbors received information that they were suspected of jumping before the train.

Their body has been sent for autopsy, SP said.
