Gurgaon: In the case of extortion and other theft seen in the city, the three men were allegedly shooting at the air after stealing chocolate, ice cream, ice cubes and cigarettes from the department shop at Palam Vihar.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night.
The police said the people came in two separate cars and began to abuse shop workers while ordering items.
After making an order, they pretended as if they were paying through a fake Paytm ID, who was considered by the employee.
The shop manager then faced a group of men because they did not pay.
The defendant suffered verbal abuse with the manager and when the manager did not give up, the people crossed the gun at him.
They then left the store and shot twice in the air before entering the car and left.
Palam Vihar police have registered three people under section 384 (penalty for extortion) and 25 (fraud) IPC and under the relevant section of armed laws as well.
