Coimbatore: Three students and three teachers have tested positive Covid-19 so far since the reopening of schools on September 1 in the state.
However, there are no main contacts that have been positively tested so far.
Covid-19 test results from 10th grade students from Namakkal, who attended the class on the first day on Wednesday, became positive on Thursday.
He is one of the few students whose swab samples are collected as part of the supervision sample by health staff on the day that opened back at school.
“All students and teachers are strange 300 undergoing tests to check the spread of the virus.
