Amritsar: A group of 44 Sikh and Hinduism, who had been sheltered at Gurdwara Karte Parwan near Kabul Airport, made it inside the airport and was evacuated by the IAF aircraft, President of the World Forum India Singh Chandhok told TOI on Monday.
In their minimum luggage in a hurry, they also took three saroops from Sri Teacher Granth Sahib – Scripture Sikh.
In a video uploaded on social media, three Sikh men can be seen carrying Saroop, packaged in suitcases, in their heads.

Fourty-six Hindu Afghanistan and Sikh along with Indian citizens who are stranded blessed to return on the same flight.” On Sunday, a group of around 24 Sikh and Hindu Afghanistan, including two MPS Anarkali Kaur Honaryar and Narender Pal Singh, has arrived in India.
Nearly 200 more Afghanistan Sikh and Hinduism are still stranded in Afghanistan, Chandhok said.
