New Delhi: A meeting broke out in the Pantha Chowk Srinagar area in early Friday where three terrorists including one affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) terror clothing were removed.
“One of the killed terrorists has been identified as Suhail Ahmad than Jem Terror Clothing.
As expressed during yesterday’s press conference, Suhail Terrorists were also involved in Zewan terror attacks.
All terrorists involved in Zewan’s attack were neutralized,” Kashmir Zone Police.
On Twitter quoted the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir, Vijay Kumar.
Previously the police Jammu and Kashmir had told that in the initial exchange of fires, three police personnel and one central reserve police personnel (CRPF) were injured and then shifted to the hospital.
The meeting broke out between security and terrorist forces in the Pantha Chowk Srinagar area on Thursday night.
The General Officer (GOC) Commander (GOC), General DP Pandey on Friday said that infiltration efforts from the other side of the border to Jammu and Kashmir have fell this year, adding that the terror group tried to recruit young people aged 15-16 years.
Kashmir IGP on Thursday said that the number of active terrorists in the valley had dropped to less than 200 while the number of active local terrorists decreased to less than 100, for the first time in history.
