New Delhi: Three inmates suffered injuries after clashes broke out between two detainees in Tihar Jail, police said on Monday.
According to the police, they received information about the attack on Friday from the hospital.
“A team reached the hospital and found that my pin (24), Sunil Sherawat (32), Sunny (32), all nested in the number one prison in Tihar, was found injured,” the officer said.
According to an officer, sharp objects are used to attack these people.
Sunil and my pin were referred to another hospital for further treatment.
“The three patients are behind the bar in different cases,” the officer said.
During the investigation, the police found the role of four inmates in the attack.
The source said that recently, while checking in prison staff, the telephone recovered from the attacking cell.
“They suspect that the victims have provided information about the telephone for prison.
We investigate whether this point is the reason behind the clashes,” said a source added that the four men belonged to the famous gang.
