3 year old boy died on the roof

Krishnagiri: A three-year-old boy was killed after the roof of the tile house collapsed near Hosur in Krishnagiri district on Friday night.
His mother and aunt were injured in the incident.
The boy, P Arkunkumar, from the village of Sigalarahalli, his mother Poo Lakshmi, 28, and Bibi Saradha, 31, went to bed after dinner on Friday night.
“Within a few hours, the roof of the house collapsed and fell on them.
The boy died in place,” said an officer with Hosur police.
Neigbhour admitted Lakshmi and Saradha to the Hosur government hospital.
The police took the bodies of the boy and sent it to the hospital for postmortem.
Meanwhile, income officials visited the village of Sigalarahalli after the incident and examined other houses.
“Of the 76 houses in the area, many were in bad condition.
So we shift the family who lived there to the nearest government school,” said Income Officer.
