New Delhi: Center, Under Ayushman Bharat-Pradhanmantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-Jay), has ratified at least 1.99 hospital care worth 24,683 crore across the country until 11 August 2021, since it was launched in 2018, according to authority data National Health (NHA).
In accordance with data, around 16.20 receivers who meet the Crore requirements have been verified based on the scheme and are equipped with Ayushman cards to date.
“There are 918 packages of health benefits with fixed rates covering 1,669 procedures, along with Covid treatment and diagnostic tests.
So far, the network of around 23,000 public and private hospitals has been returned with AB PM-Jay throughout the country,” said the website NHA .
Recently, Union Anurag Minister Thakur, in a tweet, said that more than 13 family crore can benefit from the scheme.
“As part of the steps taken to care for children affected by Covid19, children up to 18 years will be given free health insurance Rs 5 Lakh under Ayushman Bharat and his premium will be paid by PM care,” he tweeted.
The main feature of this scheme includes health coverage of up to rs 5.00,000 per recipient titled per year.
Top specialties and procedures include general medicine and surgery, infectious diseases, midwifery and gynecology, medical and orthopedic oncology.
