Hyderabad: There are 30 Delta Plus Covid cases in the state since May.
Nearly 99% of cases in Telangana in the second wave have been from the Delta variant, with most plus variants only reported in the last two months.
Also, there are no other new variants in the state so far, officials said.
30 These patients come from various districts, the majority of the GHMC limits.
While some positive samples came from the airport airport Shamshabad who returned to the country, others did not have a history of travel.
“While we see the Delta Plus variants cases, it is not a cause of concern.
The patient has recovered and is fine.
The level of infection and symptoms of sub-genenses is the same as the Delta variant,” said Dr.
G Srinivasa Rao, Director of Public Health.
The Delta variant attacks vulnerable populations such as those who are not vaccinated and those who have co-morbidity.
“Therefore, there must be nothing left in the behavior that matches Covid and all must be vaccinated earlier,” said an official.
