New Delhi: The newly formed Delhi School Education Board (DBSE) will provide affiliated 30 government schools from the 2021-22 academic session, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced on Tuesday.
Sisodia, who also held an educational portfolio, said the government would launch 20 special excellence schools (SOSS) on August 15.

“These schools will serve students in class 9 to 12 which have special talents and interests in certain study domains such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics (rods), humanities, performances and visual arts, and the 21st century skills .
Of these 20 sausages in the first phase, 8 schools will specialize in stems, 5 schools each specialize in the class of 21st century classes and skills, and 2 schools that specialize in performances and visual arts, “he added.
Sisodia further said that in the next academic session, a total of around 100 special excellence schools will be formed – with all four domains in each Delhi education zone – so that children of all parts of Delhi can access special schools in the environment.
