Coimbatore: Religious and Ambit Hindu Department (HR & CE) has taken 30 hectares of Manhiragiri Velayuthasamy temple near tendrils.
A HR & CE official said that land taken was estimated at around Hospital 3 Crore in value according to the market level.
From this land, around 30 hectares under seven survey numbers are under the abroad of seven different people.
Furthermore, officials approached the court and obtained favorable orders to remove encroachment and take land.
