Bengaluru: The state government has decided to implement transportation without contact services from November 1.
Can be remembered that TOI recently reported about delays in implementing services without contact-based Aadhaar authentication.
Officials of the Department of Transportation said 30 transportation services (see boxes) include student licenses (LL), motorized vehicle registration with the body built fully, changing names in LL, change address in LL, Duplicate LL, B-Extract (Registration Details), Transfer Ownership Motorized vehicles, Grant of NOC / Clearance Certificate for vehicles, ratification of rent / hypothesiveness purchasing agreements, Duplicate Registration Certificate Problems (RC), change addresses in RC etc.
will be a without face service.
TOI report, ‘Six months in, transportation dept has not adopted without contact services’, published on September 28 has specified the consequences of delays in implementing services without contact-based Aadhaar authentication.
“Citizens will be able to take advantage of this service from the comfort of their home and without a single visit to the regional transportation office (RTO).
All 30 transportation services will become faceless without the Requirements for the presence of the applicant in RTOS” said Rajender Kumar Kataria, the major secretary of the Department of Transportation.
Kataria said Cm was very interested in making this service without contact.
“He will launch it on November 1, it will reduce crowding at the RTO office during a pandemic and document” he said.
There are several complaints of corruption, peouts, the presence of RTOS and crowding during Covid.
The movement of the department to go without contacts is expected to benefit the rider’s lakh throughout the state.
