30-year-old man booked under the law of new love jihad

Rajkot: 30-year-old garage owner in the city of Dhoraji District Rajkot was ordered under Gujarat Law which was changed from the Religious Law after a woman filed a complaint against him in the city of Dhoraji.
A pine was put forward against Mohammed aka Dado Gani Sami (30), a resident of the Radhanagar area of Dhoraji City on Sunday late at night for allegedly raping the woman and forcing to change his religion.
“The woman told the police that she had made contact with Sami for the past half a year.
He sent several religious verses on Instagram and forced him to get married.
He was suspected of asking him to accompany him to Maulvi to do a formal ceremony to enter into Islam but because he did not want to change His faith, he approached the police, “said senior official.
This is the first violation registered under the laws amended in the Rajkot District after being passed by the state legislature.
